Cruise the Breezeway, leave the dishes for later

Katherine writes: It was briliant fall weather today so I shirked my household duties that were planned and went for a drive. My philosophy exactly. And look what Katherine saw:

Brilliant fall

I hope that brilliant fall weather holds until Saturday, because the folks along the Breezeway invite you to a color cruise.  Start just up the road in Atwood the Adorable, where you can pick up a packet of coupons and maps at Antrim Dells.  Then meander over to Ellsworth where you can shop the farmers market.  Drop down into the Jordan Valley to watch the costume judging at Sportsman’s Park or head into town to see the Midener/Beeby exhibit at JRAC.  End up in Boyne Falls with a free chairlift ride at the Mountain.  Coupons, cute kids in costumes, prime scenery, free stuff, and treats–did I mention there are treats?  There are.  I don’t see how you can go wrong.

  1. Hope it doesn’t snow on their cruise this weekend. Where I am going there are Winter Watches in effect. Oh, joy!

    • Hold that thought! I hope you dodge the Winter Watches and have a great weekend.

  2. What a sky! It just goes on and on. I love the layers of autumn colors.

    • Katherine’s really something, isn’t she! I like that image, too.

  3. Oh it’s fun to shirk our dishes and just go play outside. Pondering that option right now. Even though there’s a pile of dirty dishes in the sink.

  4. My problem is that I always choose the run out and play option.
