At Stan and Barb Dawson’s Cherry View Market you can buy cherries and peaches and, most notably, wine made from their own vineyards, the first to be established on the east shore of Grand Traverse Bay. Every fall you can choose a pumpkin right off the Dinosaur’s scaly back! (I promise to get a better picture next fall.)
Back on February 29 Elva Cowell wrote to say:
I am enjoying your notes and info in Florida. To the best of my knowledge the Dinosaur Creation every year is done by Stan Dawson at Cherry View Farms. It’s nice and warm here but I miss the snow once in a while.
And so I answered her: Elva, I’m on the case. I have a photo of the dinosaur that I’ll post on the right page – as soon as I figure out for sure which one it is! More to follow . . .
Well, it took me until today to find my body and my head in the same place at the same time, but she was absolutely right, and Hee-ere’s Dino!
