I tell you, no one has more fun getting out and about than Babs Young. She writes: These six little guys and gals live in an undisclosed location not too far from me. To protect their privacy the exact location will remain a secret. Mom was there when I got there, but she had some shopping to do and left for a while. I think she knew I would not harm her pups. They seem to like having their picture taken.
There is absolutely nothing I can say that could improve on this perfection. Update: But there’s more! I posted this and looked in my email and darned if there weren’t more. I believe you can never have too many cute foxes. Here you go.

I am just undone. Melted. What wonderful, amazing photos. I’m in the process of sharing the link with several wildlife-loving friends. I expect the same reaction from them. 😉

I’m just loving the little guy caught in mid-skritch with his hind paw in the air, gazing at Babs. I swear they would have gone home with her.

That’s just incredible! She was soooo lucky, and she had her camera ready too. There are naive young animals about here too at the moment. Last week we came across a young squirrel in the middle of the path ahead of us. It seemed not to realise you should run away from dogs, and was just acting confused. We walked right up to the little thing, and that was when it decided to make a run for it – up my leg! After that it hopped into a tree, but it stayed at eye level (to me) and I think I could have touched it because it was making eye contact the whole time. Seems like wild creatures are not born scared of us, or our dogs.

Lucky little squirrel. If this sort of thing keeps happening in your life you’ll end up making a blog of it.
This may explain why wild creatures have a short life expectancy. What truly amazes me is that the mother fox saw Babs and still went off to hunt, leaving the kits to observe the Human.

Gerry, what could possibly be more darling than baby animals in springtime? While certainly cute, these little foxes look so clever already. Thank you so much to Babs for sharing and to you for posting.

Grandchildren. But I digress. I thought the little foxes looked clever too. Their encounter with Babs will become one of the legends foxes tell each other in the den.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!
Babies of any species make me smile, but these?! They are something special aren’t they? What a sweet bunch. Thanks for the treat on this cold and rainy, low-barometric-pressure-so-I-ache-all-over day!! I do believe you’ve just oiled my joints a bit. 🙂

Oh icky day. Make tea and look at the foxes again. Maybe they’re trying to hypnotize Babs! Maybe they succeeded. Hmmmmm.

I’m sure their mom can tell them apart, but I can’t! If I look closely, there is a variation in pattern of fur color between their ears, but the expression on each little face is exactly the same. Love, love, love these pics!

They certainly were curious about Babs–and her camera, too. Will you look at that! they exclaimed to each other. What do you suppose it is???

Miss Sadie and the Cowboy say they would be very pleased to investigate, but I suspect their motives.

Just wonderful to see. I’ve only ever seen a fox in the wild twice. We haven’t even heard any in about a year. 😦 These guys (and I suspect girls) are cute! So glad we got to see them. Hope they all survive!

They are astonishingly cute. I wish them well. It’s spring. We are allowed to hope.

I’m thinking their mama must be about exhausted. But they sure are cute.

Kitty Dogs. Oh how cute. Can I keep one, if it follows me home? I was once in on the rescue of a fox kit. He had a broken leg, we got treatment for him but he died from complications. He was so cute.

If one follows you home you’ll almost have to keep it. Wonder what Rosie will make of that.

Oh my goodness!!! How wonderful to see this! I can’t imagine having my fingers ready to take the shot if I ever had an experience like this – I’d be too giddy and shaking to get a clear picture.

Aren’t they something though? I was tickled by this one. Babs is a fool for small furry creatures, but not easily shaken. I am not surprised that she was able to commune with the fox kits.
